RULES


STAGES

The competition will consist of the elimination round and the live stage .

The elimination round will include the examination of videos and CVs of the candidates.

The live stage will take place from May 18 to 27, 2021 in Leipzig, Germany and will include four rounds in which the competitors will conduct the orchestra in front of the jury judging their qualities and selecting the ones who will pass to the next round.

ELIGIBILITY

The competition is open to all conductors with no age limitations.


VIDEOS

Your video may contain pieces from any historical period, with any kind of ensemble (both vocal or instrumental), and must be played in the streaming mode.Every video must last at least 5 minutes.Videos with candidates conducting a piano are also admissible.

ACCOMODATION & TRANSFERS

The promoter will help the participants who will need assistance.

MEDIA RIGHTS

All candidates will by submitting their application hand over all rights on TV and radio recordings to the promoter - this includes all pictures taken on and off stage.All candidates will also by submitting their application give their permission and approval to the promoter to use their names and pictures in press releases.

ACCEPTANCE

Participation implies the full acceptance of the present rules. The promoter reserves the right to change the rules of the competition in case of force majeure.Application and participation fees will not be returned except in case of cancellation of the competition.For any legal action the English text of the announcement is to be considered.
